Mt. Kenya

An extinct volcano, Mount Kenya, is Africa's second highest mountain. These peaks are permanently iced with snow and glaciers, while on the upper slopes the combination of altitude and position astride the equator results in forms of vegetation that only exist here and at a few other lofty points in East Africa. Mount Kenya is unexpectedly different and, unless your time is very limited, too good to miss.
